DIGIUM FAX on Proxmox

Hey guys, have searched the forums and Digiums website and cant seem to find an answer to a question I am not the first to run into. I have Purple install on a Proxmox container, and everything is great with one exception, well two, but I will start a new thread for the Cepstral issue. I have received my Digium Fax license, but when I go to try and install, I get as far as ./register, and get an error that ETH0 is not started. Because this is a Proxmox Container, I am on a VETH0. has anyone found a workaround to be able to install the license yet?

The nic has to have a MAC

I think you can change it to bridged in the proxmox control panel.

eth0 is bridged, and as such shows up in the container as vmbr0. not sure what I need to do to get this to work, but with multiple web servers, proxies, eyeos, hotspot software, etc, cant really bring down the box and start over

nothing needs be done in the host node. as i recall, the problem with switching to bridged mode is it doesn't set up the eth0 file on the guest. check here:
