I migrated from 1.6 to 1.8, for the most part everything went smoothly except now when I park a phone call the person on the call hears the system say "Seven One" (eg: the Parked Call Number)

How can this be disabled?

That's always been there as far as I remember. What reason do you not want it for?

I think you can disable it in FreePBX under Parking Lot.

There is more than one parking lot number. If it didn't say that, you'd never know which parking lot number your call got parked in. Without that, no one can retrieve the call.

If OP is saying the person in the Office hears the extension - then yes this is normal, but if he is saying the incoming caller TO the office is hearing the Parking extension, I have not heard of this as for How I get them there is ## ( they start to hear MOH) 70 (or 10 in my case (Only I hear the PLS # (71 -- 11 in my case)

Jeremy - you need to be a little more specific in WHO is hearing the extension.

For Office personnel - Normal
For incoming callers - I haven't come across that.

The incoming caller hears the system say the parked call number when the operator parks the call, the operator who parked the call doesn't hear anything.

We're using Aastra 6739i's, with the Aastra scripts, we can see a list of all parked callers when we press "Parking".

Its just wierd that in 1.6 it didn't exist, but in 1.8 it does, I don't see any option in Parking Lot in FreePBX to disable this "feature" unless it goes by a name I don't recognize.

I mean its, its not a show stopper, it's just weird, but would be great if we can stop it.

Thanks
