DL360 1.4 32bit freezes at Zaptel Compile

v1.4 32bit install.

Using a DL360 G3, 5i SmartArray controller, 4GB RAM.

Install proceeds through first reboot, downloads package, proceeds through Digium Source.

Stalls at Compiling Zaptel.... forever.

Thoughts on how to troubleshoot?

I looked at all logs in /var/log/* and don't see any problems.

dmesg doesn't show any major maladjustments either.

Stuck.... Little HELP!

Run tail -f /root/install-pbx.log while running the install, and lets see where it trips up.

Hopefully I'm about to save you a lot of headache....

I had this same problem last weekend with a DL360 G4.

On the console it just seemed frozen....

I SSH'd into the box and tailed the install-pbx.log

There were a lot of messages flashing but I continued to notice it continually saying something to the effect of "scheduled for the future" and another reference to the time being off....

Ran the "date" command and sure enough it was reporting 2007.

I ran the date command again with some arguments to manually set the date and time and presto.... install broke out of the time loop and finished...

Genius - Date was source of problem.

That was it.
