I'm building a new piaf box that will have 25 extensions and 10 sip trunks. Since there is no TDMxxx card of any kind in the system, the xxxdummy driver gets loaded for timing. I've seen alot of bad comments in the forums about the dummy driver not being as good as a hardware timing source. Will this cause issues with this box? Should I put a cheap TDM card of some kind in the box just so I have a hardware timing source?
