Exciting news for the Elastix Community: the Elastix telephony engine has been upgraded to 3CX v16! V16 takes business communications to a whole new level and is set to reinvent corporate communications. This new update integrates ingenious call centre features enabling customers to contact businesses directly from their website via a brand new live chat. Powered by WebRTC technology, this live chat integration is unique in its class, thanks to the ability to elevate a chat into a voice call or straight into a video call.
V16 also assures that call flows and incoming calls are handled not only more efficiently, but also more effectively, by adding new contact centre functions such as skill-based routing, web-based SLA monitoring and improved recording management. Better CRM integration guarantees improved customer service by allowing agents to know who is calling and whether they have called in the past, making it simple to give customers personalized assistance and speedy resolution of their inquiry.
