EndPoint Manager-Aastra 57i-2 Extensions

So...i Got endpoint manager working. One question though..I have a aastra 57i that i want two extension on..Well i cant do this with the endpoint manager, so how do i do it?

Here is the config it created:

sip auth name: 888
sip password: test888
sip user name: 888
sip screen name: 888 Test 888 #the name display on the phone's screen

What do i need to put in this to create line two with extension 889?

Sip line 2 auth name 889?????

We did not build this capability into the endpoint manager. The good news is, you can manually modify the file in /tftpboot to do what you want. Also, another member of this forum is just about done with a complete rewrite of Endpoint manager that includes this capability.

Hi pmartin. I can add this feature into the beta tonight and re-build the module, if you'd be willing to test it out for me that'd be great.

Otherwise I can just give you the info, but endpoint manager will end up re-building your custom config files every time.

After The last line in your <mac>.cfg file add this:

sip line2 screen name: Support 
sip line2 user name: 4000 
sip line2 display name: Aastra Support 
sip line2 auth name: support 
sip line2 password: 54321
