Phones are Aastra 57i. Carrier was Flowroute
.
Just had two call drops to the same number. While on the call, the person did not hear anything remotely resembling a fax tone. Anyone ever see this before?

Hello forums! Long time follower, first time poster.

I had a call drop today as well. First time I've noticed it. Carrier is also Flowroute.

PBX in a Flash Version = 1.7.5.5
FreePBX Version = 2.8.1.4
Running Asterisk Version = Asterisk 1.8.3.3
Asterisk Source Version = 1.8.3.3
Libpri Source Version = 1.4.11.5
IP Address = 172.16.6.12 on eth0
Operating System = CentOS release 5.6 (Final)
Kernel Version = 2.6.18-194.26.1.el5 - 32 Bit

Code:

Also, I'd like to add that sip_general_additional.conf shows faxdetect=yes, but I can't find anywhere to disable this in the GUI. Should I add faxdetect=no to sip_general_custom.conf?

I've posted at freepbx also. Can you add to that one there as well?

I did find this info but am not sure where I'd put faxdetect=no since I do need the feature. Is it possible to put faxdetect=no into outgoing routes/trunks somehow?

Just had it happen to me again.

What handsets are you using? I'm using Aastra 57i's.
