Extension Mobility - login/logout

Hi,
I would like to setup something to enable users to login into phones and be able to make calls and get their VMs.


Can I do something like that in Piaf ?

I have 8 users and 4 phones.

I want to be able to have the users login on the phone and get their extension(Profile) loaded. Like a call center or Cisco Extension Mobility .

Right now, I have to reconfigure the sip info of he phone to match the current user. Pain in the butt when you have to do this every day.

Anyway to have the users login on the phone to load their profile?

Aastra scripts do this natively if you are using aastra phones. Otherwise you are probably looking at device and user mode.

Using linksys ATAs.

Where would I find "device and user mode"? Is that in FreePBX or the device itself ?
