The FreePBX status shows that FOP is green. When I go to FOP, it shows all the extensions, parking lots and trunks as it should but nothing happens when a call is made from one extension to another. Doesn't show ringing or that an extension is in use. Don't really know where to look...:banghead:

I'm using the following:

PBX in a Flash Version 1.3 Daemon Status

In /var/www/html/panel/

I changed:

manager_user=admin
manager_secret=xxxxxxx

to match /etc/asterisk/manager.conf

What should poll_interval=120 be set to? 120 seconds?

Things are appearing to work but incredibly slow on updating, I hang up the phone and it still shows that it is in use 5 min later...

Strange. Is this a test machine or a production machine?

Test machine. The extensions show up on the left hand side but there's no indication that anything is active. I have two SIP phones and they show up as trunks on the right hand side. Haven't found a decent tutorial on how to use FOP so I don't know how it's supposed to work.

The installed default FOP is version 0.27, for Asterisk 1.6, you require version 0.30. It is NOT a trivial upgrade as version 0.30 has split the configuration into two directories: one client directory in /var/www/html/panel (as previous versions) and a new server directory /usr/local/fop2. FOP integrates with FreePBX, astb and apache so you have to get all 4 services talking.

Rather than upgrade to FOP v 0.30 which is at its end of life. I recommend upgrading to FOP2 which would take about the same amount of effort.
