We are very much looking forward to when Joe can provide DID's.

We have used his tsp on one project now, and I can say this about the experience:

1. Easiest setup I have ever done. Period.

2. Rock Solid Trunks. No down time at all. No endlessly dropping trunk registrations (ala Les.net).

3. Outstanding call quality.

And they return a portion of profit to the PBXIAF project - which means every time we place a call, we are two. I like that.

two questions relating to signup...

1) how long should the email take - if it is immediate i must have mis-typed my email address.....

2) i am in rented accom in between house sale/purchase....my driving license address is not up to date....does this matter or is there another proof ie council tax bill etc which would sufffice

We simply require two forms of official documentation in order to verify that you are a real person. We've accepted a gun license and other things before now.

In respect of your email, It's immediate so if has not arrived, it's probably sitting in Pixel Land somewhere. Drop me a line with email address and name you signed up with and I will sort it out manually for you.

is it possible to set cid for calls to eg uk landlines - currently shows INTERNATIONAL...

If based in the USA, you should be sending your number as 1234567890 - in 1NXXNXXXXX format.

We try to deliver the CLI everywhere, but no guarentees, although I am suprised you are having problems with the UK, we are using a very ept (as opposed to inept) carrier there.

calling from the uk.

Not passing cli to landlines. Passes through to my O2 mobile ok, but not bt - comes thru as INTERNATIONAL.

have tried various including just the number (01234567890), "Name"<01234567890>, etc but to no avail.

what should the trunk CID format be? - does it matter?

it seems that from the uk:-

CID to O2 mobile is ok

CID to BT landline is "INTERNATIONAL"

CID via voip is prepended with 0034 (spain i guess?)... this is calling a did which forwards direct to my pbxiaf via iax2 ...

What happens next:-

You will receive an email with a link to click to prove to us at that moment that your email is valid. This will activate the account, and you will receive a second email with some useful information in it as to how to configure FreePBX to make calls, and links to the configuration example and the T's and C's

At this point, you will be limited to one concurrent call, and your caller ID will not be delivered. This restriction will be lifted, and you will be able to manipulate your caller ID and make many concurrent calls once you have gone through our fraud avoidance measures.

As I mentioned in my previous post I did not get the confirmation email but used the forgot password button. So I was able to get my username and password.

But I'm sure I have to send you more info. Can you forward what I need to scan and send to you.

How does one go about purchasing a DID?

It doesn't appear that this is possible via the web interface.
