Hi All,
I Wasn't sure where to post this so mods please move the thread if here isn't appropriate.
I recently built a PIAF box as a favour to a friend setting up a small business. He now has a receptionist and would like her to be able to use FOP. 99% of it seems to work, but for this one issue that he's got a bee in his bonnet about :
All call scenarios are working fine,
all inbound and outbound trunks (sip and ZAP) are working
for some reason though, when a call is answered on either a ZAP or SIP extension, that originates from an external SIP registrar (in his case voipcheap.com) FOP never turns the trunk icon red.
I assume i'm doing something wrong with the contexts in FreePBX admin, but as I said, all calls route through and outgoing calls "go red" so it must be something fairly simple that i'm missing .
can anyone with freepbx GUI experience (I admit i'm more of a CLI man myself!!) explain in a bit more detail please, the relationship between:
outgoing :
trunk name, (which rightly /wrongly I called VOIPCHEAP-out)
incoming :
USER context (which rightly/wrongly I called VOIPCHEAP-in)
Context ( which I left as default "from-trunk" )
and the trunk panel in FOP.
MTIA
Regards
BB
