Hi, we have set up our phone system with an IVR that allows customers to get hold of the out of hours engineer for support, this works well however the calls are not recorded. I have tried both a ring group with the mobile number in it and also a custom follow me extension with record incoming and out going set to always. I get the same problem its No AMPUSER db entry for 07******.

I have read that I am not the only one who has had this issue, but have not found a solution.

Can anyone help?
Thank you.

Hi, looking into this is there any change that should be made in the var/lib/asterisk/agi-bin/recordingcheck file to skip checking the ampuser, or is there a way to force the outgoing trunk to record rather than just using the extension record options?

thanks

ok I have managed to get outbound forwarded calls to record by setting up a custom extension with calls recorded, and call forwarding enabled. Inbound calls are then forwarded to this extension.
I do however have another problem, the calls go out via a gsm gateway via a sangoma analogue port, there is a long pause between it taking the call and the call going through. This results in a period of silence in which someone may think they have been disconnected. The gsm unit can dial immediately if the number is ended by a # however I seem unable to add that to the trunk dial rules as it disappears when applied. Also it is not accepted if added to the phone number. Any ideas? thanks
