Hi Good People, am looking for any ideas.
Scenario:

I have a GSM Gateway (with 2 RJ11 Ports and no RJ45). One port is Connected to Pluscom ATA Pstn Line. Incoming call is sent to the phone attached to ATA which is also registered as an extension on PBX.

What is the best low cost way to forward the GSM incoming call to PIAF server via RJ11 ports as it seems the ATA's FXO is not SIP addressable.

Limitations,

1. Piaf Servers are hosted on Proxmox loaded on Optiplex 780 with no slots to install TDM cards.

2. Cost: the project is for test only, originating and terminating GSM lines, quality is no issue at Mo.

Any replies will be much appreciated.
Kind Regards

Just looked around my house and found a mediatrix 1204 4FXO VOIP gateway, Phew!!
This may be my solution, just going to configure this beauty to forward incoming calls to server. Fingers crossed!

Will update .

Kind Regards

At last result.

Simple GSM Gateway ======>> Mediatrix 1204 ======>PIAF (hosted on proxmox) .

3 days of hair pulling, a lot of alcohol and result. Call to GSM Mobile is connected to PIAF IVR.

Woh! Am over the moon on this one.

Now the death of landlines as they call it wont bother me.

Thanks to Uncle Ward and the PIAF Team for such a great software.
Another pint please!
