FreePBX 2.8 + MOH

Help…
If I create MP3's and upload it, it re-transcribes to WAV and sounds terrible, if I upload as WAV it never upload's….
How can I get quality MOH up there ???

What sample rate is the wav file in? it needs to be 8k, 8bit.

HI Yes, it seems the wav file is being dumped in the MOHMP3 folder even though it is WAV, is this the problem if so what should I do ?

I've been using the script found on this page to convert my mp3's.

Seems to work pretty good.

Oh you know what, it seems my default and secondary categories are corrupted….
They keep re transcribing the music back to WAV and it sound awful… but I have created a new category and it works fine, trouble is I now have a corrupt "Default" category and I need to fix it...

When I Upload mp3s to the default folder they get turned into WAV's… why ?…
