It mentions to not select the 3rd option "unanswered goto GV VM". But in my case that option fixed everything to exactly how I wanted it. With that option the PBX will ring through to the ext but GV will still see it as ringing and continue to allow me to answer on hangout or directly on my cell. Also my cell will show the CID of the calling person.
Now if I end up using IVR that will be different of course but for now this is perfect till IVR is setup. Too bad GV doesn't allow CID to follow through if PBX picks up the call.
Does anyone use GV integration in this way or know of a better way? In my old setup it would ring my phone and only ring the PBX if I didn't pick up before going to GV VM. Is that still possible?
