so i read that GOOGLE VOICE, will die soon for PBX & Apps like Groove Ip

im Freaking out of my Pony Skin...... Hoofing all over... trying to find another backup provider that is Free or Super low cost Month or Year

so what im asking is dose anyone have an idea what will be the best PBX Voip Provider for

Year or Month Call In & Call Out with Text?
Super Low Please.... No Contract, No Credit Check & No Deposit as well as paying one year in adance but month to month?

I use Vitelity because they have free SMS and their SMS is run over XMPP, so you can use any Jabber client with it. But they are not the cheapest for voice.

Same here. I use Voip.ms as my default outbound trunk since they are slightly cheaper, but my DIDs are all on Vitelity and I'm using their SMS for them.

how are you keeping the same Number for Inbound and Outbound for Call & Text? are you telling the PBX to mask it as the out going?

Yeah. I have most of my outbound routes and trunks set to use the CID for my main DID on Vitelity. Text it doesn't matter since it's all via XMPP, no interaction with PIAF at all for that.

Actually I am thinking of a way to continue using Google Voice from your PBX even without XMPP support. It goes like this:
1. Apply for a DID from a free or paid provider such as IPKall ("Provider 1"), which allows forwarding of incoming calls to your PBX via SIP.
2. Register an account with another provider ("Provider 2") such as Localphone, which supports SIP and allow you to set outgoing Caller ID. Set this to your GV Number.
3. Incoming call route: Caller's Phone --> Your GV Number --> DID from step 1 --> Your PBX --> Your Phone
4. Outgoing call route: Your Phone via SIP --> Provider 2, displaying your GV Number as Caller ID --> Your Contact's Phone

In order to receive incoming SMS, in step 1 just select a "Provider 1" that supports this feature, such as Anveo, and set your GV Number to forward texts to your DID.
Anyone has comments on whether this scheme will work?

Sure it will work , works for me now as a backup. You can test by disabling your xmpp trunks. If you don't mind your phones continuing to ring a little after you answer you can leave both incoming routes active. The only down side is paying for the outgoing , I don't consider the time sinks of setup and testing the work a rounds cost YMMV:)
