I am having trouble with one extension.

i have PIAF box at the office and i am trying to have one extension at home. following some tutorial online i have been able to get the phone to register with the box. but when i try to make a call i get "404 NOT FOUND" and a busy tone.

any one knows what is causing this error????

thanks.

Are you able to type a full complete number in before the busy tone?

404 not found comes from the digitmap predial. For instance. You'd type ext 101. Well as you type 101 the phone asks asterisk "is this a valid extension? can I dial it" if yes then it will auto dial it for you.

Whats happening is that the grandstream is asking "is xxxxxxxxxx a valid number?" and asterisk is saying "no its not"

This can also happen because of incorrectly setup trunks

i was trying to dial another extension which is located at the office where the box is. it doesn't mater if i dial a number or an extension i get the same problem.

on this phone i have to dial the number and then press "send" or "#" to make the call. i get the error after entering the number or extension and then press "send" or "#"
