Hi Guys I'm looking for feedback from anyone that has used the grandstream GXW-4024 (24 port FXS).

We have an install that will have to keep the majority of analog extensions. Has anyone used these with their PBX in a flash systems.

I was set on using Xorcom Astribanks (chaining a few together) but due to the area of some of the old 66 blocks may need a SIP gateway instead.

Any experiences out there?

I've actually had surprisingly good results with from day-1 (as in, right when they were first introduced and ever since)... they 'just work', and this is an extraordinary statement for Grandstream (because NONE of their other products even work at times). This is in stark contrast to their 410x's, which I have had constant QA problems since day one and even till this day (tho not nearly as bad). Of all the products grandstream makes, the 40xx is by far the best... and the 410x is by far the worst (barring the gxp2000 of course).

::updated::
I should also mention that I've never had to a run a fax machine through them (only stations), so can't speak there... as always, (should you need it) I would suggest that you try faxing with and without t38 (as ymmv).

I don't like grandstream .... no support, or will not help I have one unit paid good hard earned money and will not help to get latest firmware .... they gave up too easily and will not support or find a solution

Cannot get it to work .... stops when updating/upgrading while uploading to the gxw-4104. Originally when bought had to many problems and was told new firmware will fix the problem. I have tried to update the new firmware and it will not take.
