Hamachi VPN on PIAF 1.7.5.5.4

Before I install Hamachi VPN on my production server, does it work on PIAF 1.7.5.5.4. All documentation refers to 1.4 and 1.6 but nothing for 1.8. I just want a confirmation before I move forward. My goal is to interconnect 2 remote PIAF Servers both are on 1.7.5.5.4 Purple. Thanks.
