I've got a HandyTone 286 that I'm setting up to be a remote extension and I'm having trouble getting voicemail access to work properly.
I think I've got all the proper ports opened up, the HandyTone registers and incomming/outgoing calls work properly....
When I go to check the voicemail I dial *97 and that works because it then asks me for a password. But the password never validates. It always tells me that the password is incorrect. I've tried multiple handsets and quadruple check the password by checking it from other extensions.
Is there some DTMF setting or something that I'm missing that would have the system recognize when a user inputs *97, but not when they enter a password?
