SUGGESTIONS Has Google voice Quality gone down

Over the last few weeks, the audio quality of Google voice calls had gone down so much that I can hardly have a conversation. Has anyone else experienced that?

Or could the performance of my machine have gone down? Is there a way to find out whether it's because of my machine speed, network bandwidth or Google voice service itself?

I use GV for almost all of my calls daily and haven't noticed anything different recently...

Maybe in your case Google has switched routing for the paths that your calls are taking. You can do all manner of tests on your local machine and bandwidth, but I don't know how you could ever trace the end-to-end routing of a GV call.

I use GV for a lot of my 800 calls and once in a while I will get a connection with crackling symptoms. I hang up and make another call. Clears right up.
