I set up 1.4 with asterisk 1.6

It was using dhcp for the setup, I got everything running so time to take down the trixbox and move PiaF to its IP.

I tried netconfig and it didnt seem to work, then I went into webmin and changed the network setting for the IP from there. Now I have problems

Any ideas ?

hmmm.... I would say you have problems, perhaps related to the IP address?

Give us more info and someone here can give better answers :)

netconfig works for me, but if you accept some of the auto populated values, it does not work.

I don't know what was wrong with it, if I rebooted the box I'd be able to access it for a few seconds before it would start timing out.

I reinstalled and alls good.

The network settings for eth0 are located in the text file:

/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0

You can manually change the settings using Webmin - other - File Manager then at the Linux command line prompt type:

service network restart

I just wonder if you had both boxes on the net and set for the same IP? But - as you say, its working now. So - Yay!
