Hi,
Is there a way to combine all these 3 and make it work with PIAF?

What i want to accomplish:
911 / routed thru POTS
Local Out: POTS / TMobile@home
Long Distance: TMobile@home

I also have grandcentral and it can be added to the mix

I have Fave5 for my wife and myself so i can use either line (POTS and TM@h) for unlimited calls to the cell phones.

Any ideas as to how to make the best of this combo?

Thanks,

Brunski

Hi

Its all done in outbound routes using dialplan rules.

Joe

Assuming you have two fxo ports in the back of your pbxiaf, you would connect zap/1 to your pots, and zap/2 to the rj-11 connector of the tmobile@home device.

Create a ZAP trunk
outbound dial prefix: www
Zap Identifier: 1

Create a ZAP trunk
outbound dial prefix: www
Zap Identifier: 2

Create outbound route called 911
Dial pattern: 911
Trunk sequence: ZAP/1

Create outbound route called Local
Dial pattern: NXXXXXX
Trunk sequence: ZAP/1, ZAP/2

Create outbound rout called LongDistance
Dial pattern:
1NXXNXXXXXX
NXXNXXXXXX
Trunk sequence: ZAP/2

use the up/down arrows to put local in position 0, long distance in position 1, 911 in position 2.

Test it (except test the 911 call by dialing 411 and temporarily put in a 411 for dial pattern instead!).

thank you for the replies

Unfortunately i dont have this.

But i guess you gave me the answer as to how to interface the POTS and the TM@h within the PIAF.

So, the SPA3102 is useless in this situation?

A quick note on testing 911 calls. Call the center on its non-emergency line and get permission to make a test call to 911. If they aren't too busy, they will allow it.

I used to run a 911 center and that is how we handled it.

No. You just set up the sipura in asterisk as a sip trunk. Instead of using zap/2 in the routing, just use sip/mySipTrunkName. (Where mySipTrunkName is whatever you chose to name your sipura sip trunk.) There are examples on freepbx website that detail how to set up the 3102. It is a bit more complicated, so have patience. I believe the 3102 has only one fxo port...

I have a SPA3102 interface with my PIAF, where my POTS line is connected directly to the FXO (Line) port and the physical phone line is connected to the FXS (Phone) port. I have the T-Mobile @home Router in another room and both the PIAF and T-mobile Router is connected to the same main router (D-Link DGL-4100).

Is there anyway around getting another SPA-3102 to connect the T-Mobile router to the FXO port, in order to get incoming and outgoing calls via the PIAF setup? In other words, is it possible to make outgoing calls over LAN via the T-Mobile @home Router (might be a silly question).
