Help?!?

I did updates and now I get this:
retreive_conf failed to get engine information and cannot configure up a softwitch with out it. Error: ERROR-UNABLE-TO-CONNECT
Added 3 minutes ago
(retrieve_conf.FATAL)

I cannot do a reload, in the admin page asterisk is red with error....I think it happened after I installed SUGAR
Any clues?

Did you try...

running apply_conf.sh in the (usually) /usr/src/freepbx/ directory

-or-

update-fixes ?

Think I did it right..
amportal stop
/usr/src/freepbx/apply_conf.sh
amportal start
Now see if that worked.

You might try...

Downloading the tarball from:

http://mirror.freepbx.org/freepbx-2.3.1.tar.gz

in to /usr/src/

un tar it

and in the new FreePBX-2.3.1 directory run:

./install_amp


You have mucked up FreePBX somehow...
