How do I reinstall FreePBX in live system?

After getting nowhere asking the question as to why my FreePBX status page is not dynamically updating I'm thinking to just reinstall the FreePBX piece.

But how?

Of course, if anyone knows why a few of us suddenly found the live status page dead after an update, that would also be good.
