Hylafax/Avantfax on 1.8

Anyone manage to get this to work on the new PBIaF/Asterisk 1.8? Anything to watch out for? I got it working great on my 1.4 install, but am considering upgrading if I get get Avantfax working well...

Avantfax / hylafax is pretty much separate from Asterisk, with the exception of the IAXMODEM, which I would expect to work as normal.

I can confirm Avantfax / Hylafax work on the new PIAF Purple. As a matter of fact I installed it on the new Incredible PBX 1.8. I used ghostscript version 8.70 and Hylafax version 6.0.5 for the install. Because I used Joe's script for the install on top of the Incredible PBX I got the following:
Transaction Check Error:
file /usr/lib/libjasper.so.1.0.0 from install of jasper-libs-1.900.1-14.el5.i386 conflicts with file from package libjasper-1.900.1-1.el5.rf.i386
Solution (the easy way): I yum remove libjasper and dependencies first. yum install jasper-libs second. Run Joe's script to install Hylafax / Avantfax last. Perfect install all the way thru. I should mentioned I enabled "Black Op" repository before installing Incredible PBX 1.8.
I have not done much testing. But so far so good.

What is the "black op" repository? Sorry for my ignorance. Could you go into a bit more detail of how you installed the new Hylafax 6.0.5 on top of PiaF purple?

This could be an installation error in the install-rh.sh script in Avantfax, or it could be your extra repository.

I've not tested for a while.

To solve in the script there are two options, prepare everything first, so the dependency problems don't appear, or second, fork the install-rh.sh script and adjust as necessary

Black Op is a Software Repository for Enterprise Linux 5 that provides updated RHEL/CentOS 5 packages. CentOS' come with Ghostscript 8.15. I was getting some "format failed ERROR" on Avantfax for certain PDF files. Therefore, I installed the repository for the sole purpose of getting Ghostscript 8.70 which solved the fPDF format errors I was having.
Joe you are right the installation error has to do with the extra repository. But I have the theory had I used your script first then the "Incredible PBX 1.8" scrpit; the Transaction Check Error showing the conflict would not have come up. I'll test that theory on a future install.
And for the record faxing is working great. I have been able to fax up to 30 pages just fine. It does not always happen on the first try. Nevertheless, it is great, Avantfax re-queues the fax and the magic happens.
