PLEASE HELP ME.

Hello all,
I am new with Asterisk and must did something wrong. I have been struggling for several days and many hours on the internet without finding a solution.
I am using Elastix 2.0.3 (have trouble to setup with PIAF), and able to ring all extension simultaneously in the follow me or ring group. But as soon as I put my cell phone in the list, it will ring the extensions first and then transfer the call to my cell phone, but all extensions quit to ring at the same time. I tried both ringall and ringallv2, no lucks. I posted the same question on Elastix but have no helps at all.

Here is the software versions I am using

THANKS A LOT.

Hi, wardmund.
Thanks for quick response. I did not see any information you tried to provide. Could you let me exactly what do you mean "Found your problem"

Thanks a lot. Very appreciate your helps.

I kind of think Ward was talking about running elastix instead of PBX in a Flash! After all these are the PBX in a Flash forums and not the Elastix forums. So why are you asking about Elastix related problems in PBX in a Flash problems? You are more likely to find answers about Elastix related problems in the Elastix forums as opposed to in the PBX in a Flash forums.

That being said if you were to ask about your difficulty in installing PBX in a Flash on your hardware as opposed to installing Elastix you might get some answers.

Hopefully this clarifies things. We are not trying to be unhelpful it is just that the people who inhabit these forums tend to be experts with PBX in a Flash and not Elastix.

Thank you darmock&lowno. I spent few hours to install PIAF Purple version. As I suspected. The same situation as my first post. No lucks. I think they are the same among PIAF, Elastix and TB except GUI. Any further suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks again for the helps.

Which should indicate that it is NOT a distro specific problem!

So why dont you do some screen captures of just how you have things setup in freepbx and post them? (with the phone numbers sanitized of course).

In our forums you will need to post a copy of the FULL output of the status command along with a brief description of your hardware. Please follow the recommendations in this post http://pbxinaflash.com/community/threads/faster-and-better-help-in-the-forums.10022/?t=10022

Remember if you want to use these forums and get correct answers you should be using our distro as it is what most users of these forums are expert in. Hence you are more likely to get an answer.

Hi, darmock. thanks again for the response. I looked at the link you gave to me. Here is a dumb question to ask which commands (asterisk -vvvr) to use and how can I upload the outputs to the forum here. You can see I am new with theses stuffs.

Thanks.

You will need a machine separate from your pbx that has a browser and a terminal emulator install. For example if you have a windows box get and install both winscp and putty they are free

putty is your terminal emulator and winscp is a file mover

Then you will need a screen capture program to capture the output of things and upload them to the forums.

That being said I am guessing you are a newbie to linux so you really need to read some books before continuing. There is a certain minimum skill set you need in order to install PIAF and get it running adequately. There are many books out there so there should become your first reference.

If not my apologies. Beyond that you might want to hire one of our forum members to set up your box for you.

Thanks Tom. I think you are right, I should hire somebody to help me. I did find this logs under PIAF tool's Asterisk Logfiles.
I can only post 10000 characters long.
