Inbound Caller ID Unknown Line 1 only

I have a customer with 4 FXO trunks from the local phone company, connected to a Sangoma A200. The inbound Caller ID always apprears as "unknown" on line one only. Everything is fine on lines 2, 3 and 4.

I checked the dmarc and all OK there. And I tried connecting Line 1 to different FXO ports on my Sangoma A200, but still getting unknown on the same analog line 1.

Any thoughts? Sangoma can't find the issue and I could not find any config files that relate only to FXO trunk 1.

I also have a number of DTMF issues, getting Credit Card authorization to work, but I don't think these problems are related.
 
Have you checked to see if Caller ID is being received on a CID-capable handset connected to line one? Does line one actually have Caller ID enabled by the provider? It's hard to tell if by "I checked the dmarc and all OK there" includes the above.

You might use ZapBarge (888) or a test-set (set to monitor) to listen to the line and see if it is answering before the Caller ID tone-burst is received. Are you in the U.S.? Typically, CID is received between the first and second ring.

Can you post what you have in /etc/asterisk/dahdi-channels.conf along with the output of status so we all know which version of Asterisk and DAHDI we're looking at here. Blanche seems to be the resident DAHDI expert here so hopefully he'll have some input on your issue.

I'll in Vancouver BC, and FXO lines are with Telus. I believe Blanche is located in the same neck of the woods and can hopefully shine a light on this problem.

I have also investigated further and found that Caller ID is always "unknown" on line 1, and sometimes "unknown" on line 2. Very rare on lines 3 and 4.

As well all calls are answered by the auto attendant and I have set the "Pause Before Answer" to 5 on the inbound route, but still no success.
