Whenever call comes from specific CID to my extension , the call should land to IVR...

Say if XXXXXXX (external number ) calls me then this call should land in to IVR...But if YYYYYYY (another number) calls me then it should ring ..Is it possible to do custom landing based on the CID number..

Inbound routs have a place for both the did and a CID (look at your routes on the right side in the list [2345678967/2348761234] - first Number is your inbound DID the second is the CID for the routing) Usually you see 2345678967/Any CID

just look at the top of the Inbound route page you should be able to find it

Caveat: If you want to have say 10 people ring direct on a certain number then you need to create 11 routes (one for each ring direct through and the 11th for everyone else to IVR) this could get very cumbersome instead of just telling the caller your extension and enable direct extension dialing at the IVR menu.

Hi there, I am having challenges as well. The DID field is the DID of my trunk? and the CID is of the caller?

I have inbound routes setup as per the attached screenshot. The calls always hit my IVR as the "any DID / any CID" has that set for destination and that route is top of the list. I can't find a way to move it to the bottom of the list. Is that the way it works? in order like outbound routes and iptables?

Essentially, I want to create routes for when specific people call my PIAF, it automatically sends the calls to specific extensions. All other calls should go to my IVR.

Yes. The DID is the number they are calling. The CID is the number they are calling from. Having it to any DID from a specific CID should work. You'll also need to take into account that sometimes the CID has the 1 in front of it. Don't know why, but sometimes it gets sent with the Country Code.

thanks a bunch for your reply. The issue is that I have an inbound route for "any DID/any CID" and it stays at the top statically. When I toggle the order of the inbound routes, the "any DID/any CID" stays static at the top. After some test calls, I realized that the order works like iptables. It goes through each inbound route in the order they are in until it finds a match.

How can I get the "any DID/any CID" at the bottom of the list?

Cool, thank you. I feel like an idiot. I am used to my old trixbox and I think the "CID Priority Route" option did not exits. Stupid me for not investing the other options. I selected the "CID Priority Route" and it works great.
