In advance, thanks for reading this. 3 months ago I migrated from Trixbox 2.4 to PBXiaF. I use Telasip as my provider. I have made several attempts to call Telasip with no one returning my calls or answering the phone.

The problem : At random times it appears as if my registration is being lost with the Telasip server. If I make a call out, no issues. I have attempted to schedule a sip reload every 5 minutes. That does not always resolve the issue.

I am happy to present any logs requested of me. Any help is greatly appreciated. This is just a home phone server for 3 roommates and its embarrassing it does not work.

Resolved

Finally got a hold of Telasip. He explained to me that after xx seconds the Telesip server expects my system to re-register. This was not happening. We discussed it could be the fact registration goes out on the firewall port but the incoming port can dynamically change.

This weekend I ran a sip set debug. I watched the messages and I saw bad packet errors. Then I checked my firewall, and there was the issue. Instead of using the port range tab I allocated just single port. For example my external incoming port was 5060 but internally I rerouted it to 5061. Once I removed the single range lines and added to the proper tab. I always received incoming calls.

Though this was operator error, I thought I would share so that if anyone runs into any issues then can be sure to check firewall.
