NO JOY Incr. PiaF 12 new install cannot get softphone to register

followed(http://nerdvittles.com/?p=11041). Clean install, trying to register x701 to a Yate client softphone and I am getting the following error message:

<sip:WARN> Transport(general) Socket read error: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.
(10054) [01E64290]
<sip:WARN> SIP line 'sip:[email protected]' logon timeout

Any ideas?
