Hello,

I'm having an issue after enabling oss endpoint manager that it just is not working correctly. I can search for updates. I can install the firmware for polycom phones. but nothing shows up after that in regards to selecting a phone and then installing firmware. All i can see is the uninstall.

I do not have this problem with my raspberry pi zero as i have everything working except i get an error when trying to reboot the phones which i can live with.

Is there something different about the newest raspberry pi image compared to the newest Scientific Linux ISO image?

Nothing has been modified in anyway as i am using it the way it came with the exception that the ISO was installed as basic and not enchilada.

Hey Ward! Just wanted to thank you! back in 2011-2012 sometime you fixed the raspberry pi network card when it would crash trying to download firmware. I will never forget that and thank you so much for that as I have been using Incredible-PBX with google voice ever since. That original board finally died and upgrading to a pi zero works great!

The built-in module for OSS Endpoint Manager with Incrediblepbx 13 gives me the following issue when I create an endpoint :

Error Returned From Timezone Library: DateTimeZone::__construct(): Unknown or bad timezone (america/new_york)

I have also downloaded version 13 from git and used gpl-install-contrib

That makes me think the problem isn't in the package but in the PHP libraries. I can't determine in the problem is that it's reading the TZ in lower case as displayed or what.

Any pointers would be much appreciated.

Well that made everything way worse. No my web page and amportal restart are all hosed with the exact same timezone errors

made /usr/share/zoneinfo/america/new_york all lower case and it worked.

Also my New_York file was 0 bytes. I had to snag one from elsewhere. All this fun was on a brand-new Centos install.

@Donb123 I'm fighting with this same problem also with a Polycom phone. I installed the 13.0.7.18 using the gplinstall and am getting the Error Returned From Timezone Library: DateTimeZone::__construct(): Unknown or bad timezone (america/chicago) error message.

I tried renaming them to lower case and I get all sorts of strange errors. My Chicago file is fine and not zero bytes like yours was.

Was there anything else you did by chance? I am at a loss...

TBH the problem lies in the way this timezone is saved into the endpointman_global_vars 'tz' table - it should not be all lower case. By updating the tz value with the correct upper/lower case naming there is no error reported when provisioning.
