FYI Incredible Pi No Worky

I can't do it, I can't make the raspberry pi
version work, for some reason it is just too hard
for me, someone with moderate autism.

I did not know it was going to be impossible,
and I kind of wish someone would have stated
this, but I wont hold it against them, we all
forget things.

Does the chip have to be sandisk? brand"

Maybe thats one parameter I forgot?

I used 4gb speed 4 sd chip on a new
raspberry pi 2B version, is this the
bad one?

Whichever the reason is, I tried everything
I saw on the board and I can't do it, it won't
boot, its broken.

I will just have to give up for now and either
sign up for email newsletters or something
and I will wait until it is working, and I mean
plug it in and it goes.

At least the CD version works, been using
it for a few months, and it continues to work
even with the poopy openvox a400p boards,
maybe I will save up for a Xorcom astribank
box someday to fix the echo problem,

at this time. If it ever does become functional
in the future I will use it.

I sure wish I cood just download the
source code but I don't know the address
to do that at, somebody forgot to list it
so I will just give up and wait for someone
to do it for me.

I am sorry you could not get yours to work. I have my Pi working with GV only and my needs are not that high. I receive and place calls to my GV number. I get emails of my voicemails. Again, that is all I need. Have you tried to flash your SD card with Raspbian? Does that OS boot?

Short term fix is here. We'll have an update soon. The problem is that the Raspberry Pi hardware changes (unannounced) regularly. Every time they add a part from a different supplier, all of the firmware has to be upgraded, or the new boards won't boot. Without a full-time firmware babysitter...

Thank you thank you Very much for your concern.
I should have known those boogerbutts would have
switched the hardware --- fartypantses.

Raspbian and weezy both booted very well.

I sure wish the raspberry guys would alert us of
their hardware switchery.

Again the CD version kicks ass and keeps on chugging along,
no hickups so far in the few months I been using it and I
do a update-programs and -fixes every couple of months
to make sure I am updated.

It has been a life saver around here, no boogernoses getting
through, having extensions to call between is so much better than
scratchy humming old intercoms, and google voice works pretty
decent, I mostly use for calling out for long call times so its good,
Vitelity is what my brother uses and he reports no hickups on that,
good call quality.

Maybe I shood use another browser for the bord too,
I think Ifirevox is starting to poop its pance.

Now to start saving for that Xorcom astribank-------

Thx. I try to put some humour in it after the hate of frustrations
go away some.

I did finally find out how to make it boot tho, a kind soul told me
that you have to take a image of the original, find out where the
first boot partition is, then mount it on a Linux system, THEN
it will let you replace the updated files from a booting chip,
but dang, its quite alot of stuff to do to make it work, but
it works now, I think.

When i an compile some instructions maybe I should post them?
