NO JOY IncrediblePBX 2020 ClearlyIP Anywhere issue with FQDN vs IP

Hey Everyone,

Recently installed the ClearlyIP Anywhere and clients. One slick piece of software.

Anywhere, here is a weird issue. If I use a FQDN on the sip settings page for PJSIP, it won't work. No Audio. if I change it to the IP of the external internet, it works. Yealink Deskphones work fine.

Spent an hour with ClearlyIP and were not able to sort it.

Thoughts? Idea's where to start to look?
 
I believe that is a FreePBX issue. If you are talking about this page below, it has always required the IP address. If you put the FQDN and click on "Detect Network Settings" it will change it to the IP address. That's the way it has always worked. If you're talking about ClearlyIP device settings, that will be an issue for them to resolve. Not all IP endpoints will do FQDN to IP translations.
