TIPS incrediblepbx 2027 crowncloud

What have you done to diagnose this issue?
 
so after researching online alot, i went to advance settings and set YES to CDR logging, now that works.
as for the voicemail, i think its because I use PJSIP with 2 phones in 2 locations that are connected to the SAME extension number.
calls were not ringing on both, after reading online i changed the MAX CONTACTS under advance tab in the extension to 2 instead of 1, hopefully that helps it to ring on both phones (i have to fly into the second location to test) and i am hoping that will help the voicemail issue as well.
is it a good practice to not use more than 1 phone on the same extension or is it ok and what i did to change the max contacts, is that enough?

I'm not sure as I have not tried to do that. You will need to test it out. Do the extensions share the same phone number?
Do you have someone you can test with at the remote end?
 
ill be there in 2 weeks, i will test it out. for now, it seems to work after i did that, but i am not sure if its ringing remotely now, but it is ringing locally here now. ill test it in 2 weeks and get back to you.
 
I have 2027-u running on crowncloud also.
I have both a remote deskphone and groundwire with the same extension on my cell.
Max contacts set to 15. No issues with ringing or voicemail
 
Multiple phones on the same PJSIP extension are not an issue. Sometimes, if there is a sloppy IP connection, the phone might miss the message from the PBX to turn off the message waiting indicator after you retrieve the voicemail. Some phones give you the ability to reset the indicator locally on the phone. The other solution is to delete all the voicemails in the mailbox and leave a new one. Then retrieve the new message and see if the message waiting indicator goes off.
 
somehow it stopped ringing again today, but i dont think its a PJSIP issue. i think the connection from the server back to Hawaii telephones are somehow disconnecting.
would openvpn work better? from what i understand, we cant install openvpn server on this crowncloud vps, is that correct? only openvpn clients can be used? maybe i am mistaken on this.
i do have one of my location with pfsense OPENVPN i can setup as a server and try to connect the px server from clowncloud with all my remote phone locations all as clients??

pollmailboxesno, yesIf the contents of mailboxes are changed by anything other than app_voicemail (such as external applications or another Asterisk system), setting this to yes will cause app_voicemail to poll all the mailboxes for changes, which will trigger proper message waiting indication (MWI) updates.
pollfreq30Used in concert with pollmailboxes, this option specifies the number of seconds to wait between mailbox polls.

try adding these two to voicemail.conf . . .
