info about IAX / Site to site

hi all,

Im after some advice / information about how to manage site to site installs.

Currently I am running:

1X pbxiaf server at my house with 5 extensions
and
the same again (with 4 extentions) at my mums house.

Inside each network the phones work, and accept calls both internally and externally.

However I would like to pair the two sites (and then possibly more sites) so that I can ring from my house to my mums house - either to a ring group or to a specific extension.

Reading about Inter-asterisk exchange, it sounds possible but Im just wondering. do people recommend it? or is it complex or simple?
