hi, trying to install PiAF on an older but healthy box that came out of production.

Centos installation completes successfully, and installer downloads PIAF.

1. First I ran the Asterisk 1.6 installer, and it hang compiling DAHDI. (Yes I resisted the urge, and left the box running all night, and it was still compiling DAHDI in the morning after 10 hrs)

2. Then in the morning, I called it quits, formatted drive and started a fresh install of Asterisk 1.4 this time. It went through Centos, and downloaded the installer. It took a long time compiling Zaptel, but eventually got to a "INIT: version 2.86 reloading" and has been sitting still for several hours. Again this install has already taken 8 and half hours and continuing as I type this.

Any ideas what might be the issue??

Thanks.

I had searched the forum left and right but couldnt come up with anything. On Google I finally found a post that resolved my issue:

It was the BIOS clock that was way out of sync....
