Hi all,

I have downloaded the latest VirtualBox image of IncrediblePBX and installed it...

Right on boot I get some host_log file errors but then quickly the CentOS Linux 7 loading bar comes up.

The first time I loaded I got taken to a login prompt although I don't know the username or password. I tried root/admin, admin/admin, admin/blank etc... no success.
Now when I loaded the VM again I see:

CENTOS Linux 7 (Core)
Kernel 3.10.0-1062.12.1.e17.x86_64 on an x86_64

incrediblepbx login: Started Clearly Devices Daemon. PID is 2335
Running Asterisk post from ClearlyTrunking module
No valid token found for Clearly Trunking
Running Asterisk post from Core module
Running Asterisk post from Dahdiconfig module
Running Asterisk post from Smsclient module
Running Asterisk post fromUcp module
Starting UCP Node Server...
---- 2 ses
Started UCP Node Server. PID is 2569.

I read the user guide but it does not discuss these steps and I also checked the blog post at nervittles.com/p=31399 but also did not find these steps or issues discussed.

Is something corrupted in my install?

Many thanks

I don't know the username or password.
Didn't you RTFM?

Its all there in the tutorial (that you misstyped see below)
" To access the Linux CLI, login as root with the default password: password. Change your root password when you are prompted to do so. Then update your admin password for web access: ./admin-pw-change. Also ..... ..... ..... ....."

You missed the '?' questionmark after the '/' should be One-Minute Wonder: It’s Incredible PBX 2020 for VirtualBox
Don't forget also the incredible wiki Incredible PBX TikiWiki

I can confirm that the tutorial is correct and complete as I installed it last week.

You are right, I did not see the password there.

How about doing updates through Webmin? I know we are supposed to be careful there but it is telling me about available updates and security updates, including to Webmin itself.

On CentOS especially you are more likely to ruin your system than to protect it doing updates from Webmin. If you have properly installed a non-public IncrediblePBX system, security risks are heavily mitigated by the built-in firewall and Fail2ban. Generally speaking, if it works, leave it alone until you are ready for another major upgrade of OS or PBX. If you do update CentOS and it damages your installation, you get to start all over again. In any case, make a good image backup of your working system before you muck with it.

Here's another suggestion. I see you are using Virtual Box. Clone your working system and play with the cloned version so you don't destroy the working system.
