Hi,
Does anyone have simple step by step instructions on how to install PIAF on a OpenVZ VPS?
Thanks

Hello,

Installing on OpenVZ is very difficult due to its special kernel and lack of corresponding kernel-devel package, which prevents compiling of Asterisk. The easiest way is to use a pre-built OpenVZ template for FreePBX/Asterisk, PBX in a Flash or Incredible PBX.

if you are paying more then $10 for that OpenVZ, best to let it go and get a Digital Ocena VPS or..... find a VPS that has PIAF already as a select and install under 60sec os vps most cost only $5 / $10 or more ..... its like 12:22am so im to lazy to post some sites for places like that are chaep but keep google-ing

best to just use DIGITAL OCEAN $10 plan and use the PIAF installer its tricky most of the time to get it to install i think you have to pick GREEN then pick the HIGHEST Aistrisk it will auto select a working one and done but sometimes.... it crashes the DB and you have to run a uninstall db thing and re-install i forget....

best of luck.... i stop focusing on OpenVZ had it working many times but head-&-cake n_n
