Hi All,
I am running PIAF Astrisk 1.4.21.2 on my home PBX and this has been running solid for sometime. I recently moved from Comcast to FiOS and implemented IP.sh as per the knol as the IP address seems to change more frequently than Comcast that never seemed to change.
However, I just noticed my external IP in my sip_custom.conf was 127.0.0.1? so I quickly pinged my myhost.dyndns.org entry and this is what was returned...
64 bytes from pbx.dyndns.org (127.0.0.1): icmp_seq=3 ttl=64 time=0.129 ms
(note: pbx.dnydns.org is NOT my dyndns address)
I tried ping www.nervittles.com and this worked fine
64 bytes from gw.wardmundy.com (174.37.6.70): icmp_seq=2 ttl=46 time=66.7 ms
I tried on another box PIAF I recently built from scratch for another project and this worked fine with the same netconfig settings?
I did quite a few searches before posting, honest
Any ideas? this seems to be causing me a few problems...
Cheers
Brian
