The simplest solution to block all these calls is to add and save the following code immediately below [from-internal-custom] at the top of /etc/asterisk/extensions_custom.conf and then issue command: asterisk -rx "dialplan reload"

I just use an outbound route before the typical toll route. I route them to a recording. Easy to maintain. My dial plan is always 1NXXNXXXXXX for toll calls.

no. i reverted the changes. It is working now. The issue so far was with three files I directly made changes to your PBX. There is also a newer version of the module which has these changes, but you do not need to upgrade to it.

Edit: too late. I see you already reinstalled installed the old Module
Edit 2: I restored the updated files. Just check the operation only now

You keep putting the old module back on for some reason. It is working with the newest version, but you keep reinstalling the old version. Just stop and don't do do anything . Give me a few minutes then do nothing else but just test it. I need to again revert the broken files.

Thinking about it more....what if someone has legit business in one of those area codes. Perhaps make a tab with blocked area codes with all of the Caribbean blocked when the module is installed. Then they can manually remove one or more with the possibility of adding more to the list including international.

For now I am waiting on Feedback from Joe and from anyone else interested in testing it at this point.

ok so i have to experiment further, i think the queue announcement setting are interferring with the callback announcements, and i have to make more realistic announcements, i just selected a generic announcement, also under the queue information, you cannot cancel any callbacks or pending callbacks?

The three announcements are for the following:

1. The announcement of a callback. To let callers know there is an option to call back and what to press.
2. The call back number . This is to let users know what number they will be called back at and options available.The announcement is played AFTER the number is announced.There are not enough words in Asterisk to do this. It seems you put in an "not available" message in there which is being played after the number is called.
3. The announcement to play to the customer when they get their call to let them know their call from the queue and it is their turn.

At this point, we are just making sure the callback system works before adding more features.

I have tested locally with just extensions and it is working for me, but I need more real world testing done.

Yes true, but I am thinking about someone who is not so technical. I think a Security tab would be a good option for those users.
