Is it possible to allow area code symbols in a Dialed Number Manipulation Rule??

Question:
Is there anyway to allow a "(" and a ")" character?
Purpose:
Copy + Pasting phone numbers from spreadsheets to softphone dialpads.
Workaround outside of Freepbx/PIAF:
Prior to production, edit spreadsheets with the Find & Replace tool:
(1) find all "(" and replace with ""
(2) find all ")" and replace with ""
During production, when when copying + pasting phone numbers from spreadsheets, the symbols around area codes will no longer be present.
Would like a way to allow area code symbols in dialplans, as well as spaces and or hyphens- ie:
1NXXNXXXXXX ;{Regular, permitted}
NXXNXXXXXX ;{Regular, permitted}
1(NXX)NXXXXXX ;{not currently accepted}
(NXX)NXXXXXX ;{not currently accepted}
1(NXX) NXXXXXX ;{not accepted, notice the space}
(NXX) NXXXXXX ;{not accepted, notice the space}
NXX-NXX-XXXX ;{not accepted, notice the hyphens}
(NXX) NXX-XXXX ;{not accepted, notice the space and hyphen!}
If there was a method to permit the dial plans listed above, then prior-production spreadsheet editing would not be necessary :Angel_anim:

Thanks for your reply! I checked out your website tool, but I am not sure if it is what I am looking for. Maybe it is and I just don't know how to use it

It looks like your tool converts phone numbers one at a time - I think it mentioned uploading a csv file but I didn't see how.
I convert phone numbers by groups of about 500-1000, so going one by one would not work. Besides, at the moment I can edit out the area code symbols by running a "find & replace" function prior to assigning the spreadsheet to production. It's time consuming... I just wanted to know if it was possible to force the system to accept "(" ")" "-" and " " characters.

You should be able to remove those characters in Excel before you import them.

My website tool takes an area code and exchange and lists all of the exchanges that are local to it. It make creating dialplans easy.
