Hi all.
I am using the Orgasmatron V, Google Voice Edition setup.
I am trying to dial a toll free number, which I want to dialthrough my GV number, but it won't work.
I checked the outbound routes, and it seems that toll free out dialing is setup to use a separate Trunk - something called ENUM.
Is there any way to get this working correctly?
And do I need the ENUM trunk?
And is there any way for me to get rid of the added things, like unnecessary trunk, like those used for the "special features" on this page - http://nerdvittles.com/?p=637
I don't think I need those -

Kicking the Tires. OK. That's enough tutorial for today. Let's play. After you've connected a phone to your new system, begin your adventure by dialing these 10 numbers:

D-E-M-O - Check out the Nerd Vittles Orgasmatron Demo
Z-I-P - Enter a five digit zip code for any U.S. weather report
6-1-1 - Enter a 3-character airport code for any U.S. weather report
5-1-1 - Get the latest news and sports headlines from Yahoo News
T-I-D-E - Get today's tides and lunar schedule for any U.S. port
F-A-X - Send a fax to an email address of your choice
4-1-2 - 3-character phonebook lookup/dialer with AsteriDex
M-A-I-L - Record a message and deliver it to any email address
C-O-N-F - Set up a MeetMe Conference on the fly
1-2-3 - Schedule a regular or recurring phone reminder
Dial *68 - Schedule a hotel-style wakeup call on any extension

Thanks!

ENUM lets you dial toll-free calls for free. Google Voice may not always be free. Anything can be deleted once you know what you're doing. In the meantime, do some reading before you start deleting things. Start with the documentation that we've provided. As for the remaining apps, they take up minimal storage space. Same caution applies to those.

Thanks for the reply.
The reason I wanted to change it from ENUM was that when I tried dialing a toll free number, it didn't work - told me that all circuits are busy.
You can see the CLI log here - http://pastebin.com/m37325690
If I can get ENUM working, I don't have any problem with using it...
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Nothing comes up for your link -

Assuming you have another outbound route that includes toll free numbers as part of the dialplan (ie:1800NXXXXXX, 1866NXXXXXX) etc... you can go into outbound routes in Freepbx and use the little bent arrows next to each route name to move your preferred route above the enum route(up) or move the enum route (down)..

Deal with Enum later, you don't have to delete it... It may take a while for you to get it working. Another possibility is to add a secondary path (trunk) within the Enum route. Instead of saying All circuits are busy it could use the second route. Within each route you can select and add additional trunks. Enum is a trunk, the first one in the enum route but I' saying you can add a second.. (like your local pstn or another sip provider)

Can someone help me with fixing the ENUM trunk, or where I can get info on fixing it?
Thanks!

i just did a Orgasmatron V build a few weeks ago. and ENM Works just fine.

are you having your GV route remove the 1 from the number dialed. GV seems to have a issue with this. sometimes!

try to dial a toll free number with out the 1 and see if it goes through.

i would use ENUM though.

I tried...
Seems like not all toll free numbers can use ENUM though...
Is there any know number that should work with ENUM that I can test it with?

Also checkout ENUMPLUS:

http://enumplus.org/

there is a downloadable ENUMPLUS module that I installed and got my ENUM working right away. The ENUM in my Orgas V build had problems...

isaacl - were you ever able to get your ENUM issue resolved? I am having the same issue with two different installs at two different sites.

Briankelly63: How did you get that ENUMPLUS installed?

Thanks!
