Hi all, I have been using PIAF in my home on first a RPi Model B+, which worked wonderfully, and then migrated to a full desktop build. For work I just picked up a RPi3 and have been having a few troubles. First, the machine intermittently will fail to obtain updates stating they are not in gzip format. But the biggest issue has been that I cannot answer incoming calls. The extension will ring and "answer" the call, but the line never connects and will continue to ring. I have tried using extensions using both SIP and PJSIP. The did provider is Didforsale and I have forwarded ports 5060-5069 to the PBX as well as the default 10000-20000 RTP ports. Any ideas fellow net denizens?

Have you configured your external and internal network addresses in Settings -> SIP Settings??

Hi Ward, thanks for getting back to me. I have set the addresses in SIP settings. In the log it appears as though the calls are being answered as well. I have also tried setting up an IAX connection in Zoiper on my cell and the same thing occurs.

So it appears the system will not always show the public ip address in the CLI over SSH....Could this be the problem? Local ip is visible.

It's on a Comcast DPC3941B. I've had the CLI state the public IP once, but after a reboot it was gone.

Never had much luck with Comcast modems. Ask them nicely to put it in bridge mode and put a good router behind it. Lots of threads here on best routers.

OK, so Ward I have placed the Comcast modem into bridge mode as suggested and am now using the same router that I have in my own system to no avail. The only difference between the work network and my home one is that I use my own modem. Any other thoughts?

Please post the MD5 checksum of your Incredible PBX zip file.

So after some arguing with Comcast they activated the modem that I bought which resolved the issue. Seems even in bridge mode it was blocking the connection. Anyone who comes across this, ditch their modem and use your own. Save $20/month and a ton of headache!

Tells you everything you need to know when a company has to change its name to improve its reputation. :001 9898:
