If it was on site I could agree to that price, but virtual? The in person ClueCon (FreeSwitch) this coming August is only $300.

Wazo PBX is a real multi-PBX. I know there is no love lost between PIAF and Wazo but there you go.

Nothing against Wazo at all. It was just too difficult to maintain two very different VoIP platforms with our limited staff, i.e. me.

I have been testing it briefly before. Going to install again on another instance to test it more and see how it goes.

2600Hz just made big announcement!

Hi everyone,
I wanted to check in with you about some changes we've been discussing and working on for the improvement of our forum and greater community experience. I'll be posting such updates here as we go along, and I wanted to start off with a big one: SPAM. Problem, right? It's uncomfortable and highly processed nonsense when it's here amongst us, and it ruins the concept of sushi in other parts of the world. SO, in an effort to combat said spammification, the following adjustments have been made to the forums:

• Guests no longer have posting permissions and can only see the Welcome forum here in which we find ourselves, and they can read these posts but not reply (everyone wave and encourage them to register!)
• New accounts are similarly restricted until they make their first post in the Introductions forum, so we can say hi and welcome and get a feel for their general spamminess or thereabouts

These are just a couple actions we're taking, along with continued management of the spam protection systems and moderator vigilance, to combat spam and improve the experience here in the forums. As always, I am very keen to hear your thoughts on this and appreciate your suggestions and input on this matter here, as well as in other areas of the community experience you would like to see action on. My DM's are always open, so drop me a line there if you prefer as well!

They are on 5.1 in private version. And after marketplace initial launch; they wont release Kazoo 5 open source until marketplace becomes reliable. As they said in the FAQ

Yes, but this has been going on for a few years now. Just how long does it take to put up a market? 10 years?

They have some years telling to community about being released in X or Y date, then nothing occurs. After they doing that several times, i don't trust on them. I was expecting to be released on past kazooCon event and nothing happened. I am going to find out when they did some of those comments. It is not wrong to ask on that forum about when Kazoo 5 would be released.

Did you pay $250 for that four hour virtual conference, or just looked for some announcement? Insanse anyone would pay $250 that. Meanwhile, Sangoma, to their credit, did a 2-3 days virtual one for free.

They gifted me a $500 free ticket and i did assist the virtual event.

That's crazy they are trying to say that ticket is worth $500 for a virtual event. I had looked on their site and it was showing $250. Even $250 is nuts. Paying 2600Hz guys to to do their job in their own office??

It's understandable to pay hundreds for an on site convention due to the costs involved in renting the space over 2-3 days. But $250/$500 for them sitting in their office trying to sell you their stuff for four hours is an insult.

I don't now what the heck of "open" do they refer. It is good to ask them what do they do with the 2600hz.org portal
