Listening to voicemail while being left

Is there a way to listen to voicemail while it's being left by the caller? This is a long shot, but would this "feature" be able to default through the speakerphone of a Grandstream GXP-2000?
The reason for this would be to mimic an old school answering machine. We really like having the ability to screen calls while we're either on break or off hours. Sometimes it's an emergency and we can get back to them if somebody is in the office.
If there isn't a way to do this, is there a way for asterix to play the voicemail through it's own speaker output? We're storing the voicemail so it shouldn't be hard to script something to play back new voicemail from the store folder yes/no?

I'm not sure how you would [easily] get your phone to act as an answering machine as you describe, but you can setup a feature code to do an ExtenSpy on your extension. That should allow you to listen to the voicemail as it's being left. Not sure if it will suit your needs, however.
