Hi everyone,
I’m trying to repurpose an old Mitel 5320 desk phone for home SIP use.
The unit currently shows:
Main load version: 06.05.00.15
Boot load version: 06.04.01.02
L2Boot: 06.01.00.09
DSP: 3.0.0.21
It powers up fine and fetches configs via t*f*t*p, but as others have seen, firmware 06.05.00.15 removed the web (HTTP) interface completely — so even though I can change the protocol via menu to SIP, there’s no way to configure SIP credentials directly.
I've already got a working t*f*t*p setup as I have been able to have the phone fetch some config files. So I guess I can can serve firmware.
What I’m looking for is the older SIP firmware package (06.05.00.08 or any version that still exposes the HTTP admin UI), so I can register to a SIP provider for my mother.
If anyone still has the “Release 6.0.0 / 06.05.00.08” SIP firmware or can link me to it, it would be appreciated. The only links I can find in posts are old removed google drive links.
Thanks in advanced. I would love to resuscitate this phone and give it some more use, rather than binning it off. If I can get it to work, I can post back here for anyone else that may be looking to do the same.
Thanks
Don
