Migrating from TB, sound files "scratchy".

I am in the middle of migrating from Trixbox CE to PBXIAF. Pre migration, I backed up our CE box and restored it to a VM. That way I have been able to look and see all my settings and such, and grab sound files, or so I thought...

Whether I FTP or WinSCP the files from the Trixbox VM to my PC, they become very scratchy and unlistenable. As a test, I recorded some stuff on the new PBXIAF box and copied it over and the results are the same.

If I register a phone to either box and listen to the sounds, they sound perfect.

Any ideas? This is probably something simple and I am just missing it. Thanks in advance!

You aren't telling us how you are listening to the sound files on your PC. Or what operating system your PC has.

Windows 7. I tried WMP and VLC.

However, even when I copy them up to the phone system the sound the same. I am not modifying them in any way when they hit my PC. Do you think Windows is messing with them?

Never found a fix, but see post 18 of this thread to see my workaround.
