I am getting the sip echo thing and no sound

the network has multiple subnets...
external ip=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxxx
primary 192.168.80.0/255.255.255.0
through a vpn 192.168.77.0/255.255.255.0

the sip_custom.conf

localnet=192.168.80.0/255.255.255.0
externip=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxxx

Everything else works through the vpn... so this is a sip thing

is there a gateway entry that needs adding through webmin?
should there be multiple localnet entries, 1 per subnet

I am getting the sip echo thing and no sound.

any ideas?
