There is a date at the very bottom of Nerd Vittles article for the Incredible PBX. I think this date indicates the date of the last comment. I wonder if it would be possible to put a date at the top of the NV article when Ward writes the article and then when subtle changes are made, based on issues discovered after the initial writing, the date would be updated in some way...

Just a suggestion....

I have the same issue with articles all over the internet. I'd say the majority of articles from publications (news, multimedia, etc.) have no date on them. This makes it difficult to determine if the article is fresh or a Google find from years ago. Remember the old Associated Press articles that always used to begin with a date and time....

The original publication date of every Nerd Vittles article is at the end of each article (just before the Comments section). There's not a simple way to change it without causing all sorts of other issues with the display order of the other articles. We endeavor to add a comment when changes are made that materially affect the contents of the original article. Just subscribe to the RSS Feed for the comments to keep informed. The RSS Links are at the top of the Nerd Vittles page.

Thx for the reply... Is it safe to assume that if you reference instructions on something like one of the Orgasmatron build announcements in Nerd Vittles that the announcement / instructions incorporate any changes that were discovered and resolved in the forums?

Absolutely. As issues arise and are addressed, we modify the Nerd Vittles articles accordingly.
